The project consists of two 7-storey residential apartment buildings, which are connected by an underground parking lot for 23 cars. The building on Strelnieku Street – an architectural monument to be reconstructed with two floors added. Building in the yard – a new building. The project has 42 apartments, apartment areas: from 76 m2 to 232 m2, with the possibility of merging. All apartments have balconies of at least 1.80 m, large bright windows and floor-to-ceiling windows with luxurious courtyard and tree views. Ceiling height 2.90 m, roof floors – 3.00 m.
In the process of designing HOFT technical tasks, all parameters have exceeded the European Union Construction Regulations, meeting the highest safety and comfort requirements, thus including HOFT among Premium class projects.
The concept.
HOFT – a trinity of green lifestyle, respect for the city’s history and modern architecture.
The streets of today’s city, and especially the historic center, are so lacking in the form of wild plants and trees, and the streets often do not even have the spatial capacity to solve this problem. The only solution is to try to move the trees to the buildings.
The HOFT project is a unique opportunity to introduce trees and greenery to the modern scale of the building’s facade and the new size of the courtyard building, creating soaring gardens in the city’s historic center, to give a new idea of living together and in close proximity to nature.
HOFT is a project in which the improvement does not complement the architecture, but inspires, creates new volumes by intertwining with the forms, becoming one whole with the facade.
Above the carefully preserved and restored historical facade is an absolutely unique oasis soaring in the air, just like a glass showcase with design objects, created by Nature itself.
When you open the doors of a historic building with a very classic 19th century façade, you enter a courtyard – an example of modern architecture, and so unusual that you get the impression that you have opened the door to a wonderful hidden world.
